Northeastern's Administrative offices
The Bursar's Office (now called the Customer Service Center). They share offices with the Registrar in 120 Hayden Hall (building 53 on the map listed above); 617-373-2270. This is where you go if you've got questions about your account, or if you need to clear financial blocks. This is also where you get your student ID.
The Cashier's Office, 248 Richards (building 42), 617-373-2366. T Passes and other minor payments.
Payroll Office, 225 Richards, 617-373-2280. This office is useful to those of you who will be receiving a stipend. Go here to submit W-4 forms (federal and state income tax withholding), pick up stipend checks, and sign up for direct deposit.

Tuition fees
Last year, the Engineering and Computer science departmental fees were $7120 per semester. (Tuition Fee for 8 credits @ $890 per credit) + miscellaneous charges such as recreation fees, student activity fees and a ONE TIME International Student Fee) = $225
But the fee may vary from year to year. So go through the documents that you got from the university or look on the department's website.
Northeastern ID
Visit the Registrar's/Customer Service office located at the 1st floor (here 1st floor is equivalent to ground floor in India) in Hayden Hall to obtain a NU - ID. Take along your passport and I-20.
Part time jobs
There are plenty of jobs available which pay well for doing little or NO WORK. They are easily available. Everyone has 1-3 jobs here and they pay enough to manage one's living expenses here.
Anyone who is interested in working on campus should stop by the International Student and Scholar Institute (ISSI) located at 206 ELL Hall, it has a list of Office on-campus with contact information for anyone who is interested to apply.
For those of you who are in the College of Engineering as soon as you are accepted for an on-campus job go to the Graduate office (location: 130 Snell Engineering) fill out an I-9 form and a W-4 form (required for taxes), any questions regarding these two forms can be answered at the Graduate Office, for other departments please inquire in your Graduate Office.
